Settling down

My style has definitely evolved over the years - from the days of experimenting trends with fast fashion and the occasional incorporation of random luxury items to the head-to-toe looks that I dare not pull up photos of, I have definitely wandered far from the early days. Now, I feel like I’ve arrived in a place where my wardrobe priorities consist of fit and function over trends.

I think this three-month break from New York has a lot to do with it, but maybe it’s just we’ve all just evolved as an industry. Anyway, when I first started packing for my temporary move to London, I parsed down my entire wardrobe which in turn, really helped me discovered this new sense of my personal style that I feel will live on for years to come.

This look encapsulates my now style perfectly — the combination of a bold shoulder paired with this romantic hemline and a casual tee is it. Let’s see what the next ten years of personal style evolution brings.
