discovering istanbul
The latter days of last week left me in a turkey-induced coma, and subsequently a pair of Joe Fresh sweats, hoodie, and an extra piece of pie. A confession I'm not exceptionally proud of -- except for that piece of pie, because it was that good -- but a confession nonetheless. So naturally, my return back to New York prompted the immediate need for a more polished ensemble. Touches of leather, a variation of textures, and an injection of this vibrant print and I was back to my New York state. This eastern-inspired print is essentially what I look for when it comes to blouses -- ideal for layering under basics and a fresh addition to my wardrobe. I wear so much black these days that it's better to make things interesting.
