It took quite a bit of discipline for me not to post anything over my holiday in Bali. I was trying to take a long break from everything, clear the mind, so on and so forth. Pausing everything proved far more difficult. I allowed Instagram to win. And not to mention, how does one resist 'gramming things against a sunny, blue backdrop? Especially when incoming text messages currently read "it's freeeeezing here [in New York]". Anyway, I've been in Bali for the last ten days, and finally touched down in Hong Kong just in time to celebrate Chinese New Year. The beauty of all this is that I get to restart my year again. So as a way to start off the New Year, here are a few quick poolside snaps from my stay in Seminyak Bali earlier this week. This northern part of Kuta, proved to be such a surprisingly relaxing experience. We sampled local foods at various warungs, visited black sand beaches, mingled with locals, and simply took time to reflect.
It's actually pretty foreign for me to post full bathing suit photos on here, but this one covers most of my skin so it's a plus. I packed neoprene bathing suits from Triangl and A.T.G. for the trip because I knew I'd be actively partaking in sport, so when I walked into the Shakuhachi sale in Legian Beach, this buy was a no-brainer.
