One thing I've learned about living in New York City, is that you can never be too careful when wearing miniskirts, especially those of the skater variety.  Climbing up and down subway stairs, shuffling in and out of cabs, you get the picture.  Because of this, I've avoided sporting them too often, but sometimes when the sun is scorching but its shadow still looms in the 60-degree range, a little mix and matching is in order.  Despite my reluctance to flash a peek, it's still skirt season and I especially love when they're worked into an ensembles that involve light knits and a pair of brogues.
