Sustainable Swimwear Brands

I’m one of those people that tends to keep clothes for a really long time - it doesn’t matter if it’s fast-fashion or not, I buy what I can afford and like to think that if I buy something, it’ll be piece that I can repurpose season after season, sell it to someone who will use it or pass on to my sisters or girlfriends. However, when it comes to swimwear it’s a different story for the same reason we don’t pass along our intimates.

Even though I understand that it’s near impossible for us to constantly be shopping sustainable-only brands — they’re unfortunately not the most affordable —  I think a good starting point is with products that we can’t necessarily pass on or repurpose.

Each season, I tend to purchase a few new suits that I can rotate throughout the year on various trips or more recently, wear around the house on a hot summer day. With a lot of brands headed toward a sustainability model, I wanted to introduce you to a curation of brands for you to explore. Enjoy!
