TIBI FALL/WINTER
I'm sure by now you've seen the multitude of images that have surfaced since New York Fashion Week, but I feel it would be an injustice if I didn't post some of these from Tibi's Fall/ Winter show. The cherry on top of my Saturday afternoon of shows, somewhere in between live view mode and my jetlagged haze, I was able to produce these. Perhaps her best collection I've seen to date -- think, oxfords, furry mules, textured outerwear, and oversized fedoras -- and ideally everything I wish my wardrobe could offer me at this very moment. A flawless marriage of feminine and masculine, mixed in with a touch of grunge that was duly provided by the beauty looks consisting of chapped wine lips, bold brows, and miniature faux hawks. My affinity for such a charmingly boyish balance only grew stronger post-Tibi, and the same goes for mules. Furry ones at that. In fact, it's been a few seasons now that such footwear has been lingering on my covet list, and I've gone far too long in allowing my common foot size to get in the way. Something must change. I digress.
Somehow Amy always knows how to provide that double dose of everything I feel like I'm missing each season and her collections are not only fulfilling in the sense of all things fashion, but are still completely accessible. After all, isn't that the goal?
