As of lately there has been quite a bit of drama happening on the home front which as a result created a little silence on my end.  I tread anxiously considering I find that home life is what really keeps one grounded and sane.  To spare you the details, I'll keep it to a one sentence rant -- New York City landlords are awful.  Sure, total generalization but it really helps that I'm typing it out.  The headache has incurred a bit of stress over me lately -- as you can tell -- and I can't wait to get out of my current apartment situation and find something more suitable. I digress, as the former has nothing much to do with the current post.  Today we're talking love and celebrating it.

Over the past year, I've gotten to know a certain someone (Christian) quite well.  He's really been the pinnacle of much of my inspiration and as much as he's driven me mad at times, he has been nothing short of extraordinary.  I've never dated a man who understands romance and most importantly, selflessness the way he does.  His creativity and passion are unwavering traits, and when it comes to love, he celebrates it at any chance.  So dedicating the day to him, naturally.

I can't speak for other women, but I often struggle with the whole idea of gift giving on just one occasion, and Valentine's Day is no exception.  I like the idea of spreading out gifts and doing things "just because".  So one of the gifts I decided on for our first Valentine's Day was a new fragrance.  You can tell a lot about a man by his scent.  Personally, I'm most intrigued by one's natural scent, but equally enamored when he takes the time to put on something extra.  So I'm expanding my man's very small collection of fragrances and adding something fresh to the mix.  This scent, distinguished but not overpowering, and definitely grabs your immediate attention while highlighting one's natural scent. A perfect accent that leaves him smelling like him.
